The client operated a complex global risk allocation model spanning multiple regions, resulting in significant tax, finance, and systems complexity. Evolving regulatory requirements and increasing pressure to improve tax efficiency required a transition to a single global principal structure. This transformation needed to be delivered without disrupting ongoing operations, while coordinating tightly coupled changes across SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 platforms within a highly interdependent global portfolio.
What we did
Axsys provided cross-regional programme leadership to design and implement the new global operating model. We led delivery across North America and Europe, defining the target-state model and governing execution across both SAP and Microsoft D365 ecosystems. This included legal entity setup, intercompany processing, inventory and supply chain logic, and financial reporting design. We established strong governance and delivery controls to manage dependencies across regions, functions, and technologies. Delivery was executed in a phased, tightly coordinated manner, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining operational stability, and creating a scalable foundation for future global rollouts.
